Concordia Basic Insurance

The mandatory basic insurance guarantees insurance coverage in case of illness, accident or birth. In addition to the classic model, Concordia Health Insurance also offers two alternative insurance models with which premiums can be reduced.
In the classic basic insurance, you have a free choice of doctor and the premium amount is based on the selected deductible. If you want to save, you can choose the myDoc family doctor model. If you are ill, be sure to consult your doctor to determine a treatment plan and refer you to a specialist if necessary. With the myDoc model, you can reduce your premium by up to 13 %. If you choose HMO health insurance, your first point of contact for health problems is your group health maintenance organization (HMO) doctor. This model allows you to save up to 21 premiums, depending on your deductible.

Voluntary supplementary insurance

Supplementary insurance Concordia: Individual supplementary basic insurance With the supplementary insurance Concordia Health Insurance, you can extend the coverage of your basic insurance according to your personal needs.

• The DIVERSA supplementary insurance is available in four variants. In particular, we cover the treatment of inpatients and outpatients abroad, contribute to eyeglasses and contact lenses, non-prescription drugs and orthodontics, and carry out search and rescue activities around the world.
• NATURA is a supplementary insurance for alternative medicine, health promotion and prevention.
• Hospital insurance can increase the comfort of admission. There are four options to choose from for a stay in the general ward, semi-private ward or private ward. You are free to choose your hospital anywhere in Switzerland.
• Supplementary dental insurance also comes in four variants. Supplementary dental insurance pays up to 75 percent for preventive examinations, conservative treatments, dentures and orthodontics.

In addition, Concordia Krankenversicherung offers accident insurance, vacation and travel insurance, daily allowance insurance and unit-linked savings and risk insurance.
