Compact One basic insurance

Compact Grundversicherungen AG is fully integrated into Sanitas Health Insurance. We therefore offer the same model for both basic and supplementary insurance. The following fees apply for mandatory health insurance.

Group Practice (HMO) Model

There are also three models with initial telephone consultation. With the CallMed model, you can contact Medgate's hotline with health-related questions. Medgate's physician will provide treatment recommendations. With the Compact One Digital Insurance model, you can get advice by phone or through the Medgate app. You will receive a binding treatment plan. Finally, with the Medbase MultiAccess model, you can choose to contact the Medbase Medical Center, Telemedicine Center or pharmacy first.

Voluntary supplementary insurance

Health insurance kompakt offers a wide range of supplementary insurance that supplements the benefits of basic insurance. The supplementary insurance is tailored to your individual circumstances.

Medical Private grants free choice of doctor worldwide

Jump, Classic and Family benefits include alternative medicine, massage, vision care, fitness subscriptions, smoking cessation and estimated outpatient emergency care abroad. This includes out-of-pocket costs. Each living situation also has special benefits. For family plans, the health insurance company provides a family discount starting with the child of the third insured.

Dental insurance

Dental insurance covers up to 80 % of dental treatment costs and up to CHF 5000 per year. Orthodontic and surgical procedures are also covered, including annual examinations, including dental hygiene.

Hospital Insurance

Hospital insurance offers freedom of choice and comfort during your hospital stay. With Birchmeier's supplementary hospital insurance, you have a free choice of hospital and doctor throughout Switzerland. Depending on the price, accommodation can be in the general ward, semi-private with two bedrooms or private in a single room. The Switch model gives you the flexibility to choose the level of comfort you need before going to the hospital. Bath and convalescent cures are also covered by health insurance.

Discounts

Compact rewards the choice of alternative basic insurance models with lower premiums. For example, you get 7 % off Family Doctor models, up to 15 % off Telmed Compact One models, and up to 19 % off Medbase Multi Access prices. You can also save on insurance premiums by voluntarily paying higher deductibles.
